Eligibility
Most 16 and 17-year-olds have now had their first Covid-19 vaccine and from Monday 22nd November they can receive an additional second dose.
Please note you need to wait 12 weeks following a positive Covid-19 test before getting either your first or second Covid-19 vaccine.
Young people who are not in an at-risk group will be offered a second dose of Pfizer-BioNTech (Comirnaty) Covid-19 vaccine and it should be given 12 weeks or more following the first vaccine dose.
Young people who have had a proven Covid-19 infection and a first dose of vaccine, the second vaccine dose should be given 12 weeks or more following the first vaccine dose, or 12 weeks following the Covid-19 infection, whichever is later.
