Patients aged 70+ and clinically extremely vulnerable - COVID-19 Vaccination Programme

Patients aged 70+ and clinically extremely vulnerable can now have the vaccine.

The NHS has confirmed today (18 January) that COVID-19 vaccinations can now be offered to cohorts 3 (75-79 year olds) and 4 (70-74 year olds and the Clinically Extremely Vulnerable under 70).

In Surrey Heartlands we are continuing to prioritise people over 80 and care home residents for vaccinations before contacting patients aged 70 and above and those in the clinically extremely vulnerable groups. We will be in touch with patients aged 70+ and the clinically extremely vulnerable but this will not happen immediately.

We all have an important part to play to help the NHS.

Please do not contact the NHS to seek a vaccine, the NHS will contact you. When you are contacted, please attend your appointments.

Please continue to follow the rules to stop the spread of Coronavirus.
